This workshop will give an overview of the needs of victims affected by identity theft and fraud. Millions of people are touched by these crimes year after year, yet there is little information or expertise available on the specific needs and services required by these victims. The three objectives of the workshop will be: 1) to define identity theft; 2) to know and understand the specific needs of identity theft and fraud victims; and 3) to understand the role of legal counsel in assisting and representing these victims.
