Victims’ Rights Violations-Hearings and Sanctions
Saturday, May 31 at 3:15 pm

Ken Kratz has been at the very center of the development of Wisconsin’s Crime Victim Rights legal development, having assisted in the drafting of the enabling legislation (Act 181), serving on the Wisconsin Crime Victims Council, and has served as Chairman of the Crime Victims Rights Board since it’s creation. As a District Attorney and Board Chair, Ken is in a unique position to comment on the legal requirements for victim rights hearings; has presided over every hearing held in Wisconsin; and understands the complex relationship between the rights of crime victims and due process rights of law enforcement officers, prosecutors, service providers and judges who find themselves respondents to these actions.
