Practical Implications of Crime Victims’ Rights Enforcement

John Connors is the county director of Metropolitan Public Defender Services in Portland, Oregon. He has served as indigent defense counsel for 26 years. He has handled a wide range of cases including juvenile, civil commitments, misdemeanors and felonies. He served as president of the Oregon Criminal Defense Law Association in 2006-2007, on many bar and count work groups and as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. He has taught criminal law internships and is a member of the Oregon Crime Victims’ Rights Project Advisory Committee.
