John Clune is a private practicing attorney in Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Clune is the co-founder of the Victim Justice Initiative, a private company providing progressive legal and psychological advocacy to victims of violence Mr. Clune spent six years in the Fifth Judicial District DA’s Office, leaving in 2002 as the Chief Deputy DA for Eagle County. He has been in private practice for six years and devotes the majority of his practice to representing victims in the criminal and civil justice systems. Mr. Clune represented the victim in the Kobe Bryant sexual assault prosecution in Eagle County and co-counsel in the related civil case of Faber v. Bryant in US District Court. Mr. Clune received his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University in 1996 and is a current member of the National Association of Victims’ Rights Attorneys and the National Crime Victims’ Bar Association.
