This workshop will focus on the standard of excellence that victims’ rights lawyers set for themselves, from the various approaches to be taken in briefs, to the manner and style of advocacy, focusing on the art of persuasion. In addition, the use of affidavits, expert and fact witnesses, and other items of proof will be discussed. Finally, attorney conduct and demeanor will be examined in arguing motions before the trial judge.
