However, NCVLI has secured additional rooms at the Paramount Hotel at the conference rate of $98/night. This rate is effective until Monday, May 7, 2007. The Paramount Hotel is a 10 minute ride via the light rail to the Doubletree. The ride is free (Pioneer Square South to Lloyd Center). Each night reserved supports NCVLI.

CLE CREDITS: Attorneys are eligible to receive approximately 14 CLE credits for both days of the conference. Some of the workshops have been approved by the Oregon State Bar as qualifying for Elimination of Bias (E/B) and Ethics credits. They are "They May Be Old But They Still Have Rights: Protecting the Rights of Elderly Crime Victims" by Susan S. Quinn; "Victims’ Rights in Indian Country and Native American/Alaskan Native Rights in Federal/State Courts" by Jerry Gardner; and "Providing Effective Legal and Social Advocacy for Crime Victims: Avoiding the Unauthorized Practice of Law" by Sandy Bromley.
